Legify - Cookie Policy
Last updated:
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Legify, a product of Neurobay Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies on www.legify.co.uk and other relevant online services operated by us.
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites may place on a user's device.
Cookies and similar technologies can support essential website functions, remember preferences, assist with security and provide information about how a website is used.
Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels and other forms of device storage or access.
3. Types of cookies we may use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These support essential website or platform functions, such as:
- Authentication and maintaining secure sessions.
- Security and fraud prevention.
- Remembering appropriate privacy choices.
- Maintaining necessary website functionality.
- Supporting essential application operations.
Consent may not be required where the relevant statutory exception applies.
3.2 Functional or preference cookies
These may remember permitted user choices, such as language, interface or display preferences.
The applicable consent requirements depend on the purpose and whether the relevant legal exception is satisfied.
3.3 Analytics and statistical cookies
We may use proportionate analytics to understand how our website is used and improve its performance.
Some limited statistical technologies may be used without prior consent where the applicable statutory conditions are met, including providing clear information and a simple, free means to object.
Other analytics technologies require consent where no exemption applies.
3.4 Marketing and advertising cookies
Where used, these may help measure advertising effectiveness or personalise marketing.
We will obtain consent where legally required before activating such technologies.
4. Our cookie inventory
No analytics, advertising or session-replay trackers are currently enabled. The categories above describe possible uses, not technologies that are all active.
Public website
| Technology | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
| Cookies and browser storage | No new cookies or saved preferences are needed to read these pages. Old optional preferences are removed if present. |
| Browser cache | Your browser may temporarily keep locally served fonts, images and page files to load pages faster. You can clear these using your browser settings. |
Legify platform — only for signed-in users once live
These entries support necessary sign-in and security functions, not advertising, and are not controlled by optional preferences.
| Technology | Purpose and name | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in | Keeps you signed in: persist:root and accessToken in local storage. | Until sign-out clears them; browser storage has no automatic expiry. |
| Sign-out | Prevents an old sign-in from returning: legify:logout in session storage. | Until used after sign-out or the tab’s storage session ends. |
| Session security | Where needed, a session cookie and XSRF-TOKEN protect web sessions and requests. | Normally 120 minutes, renewed by activity; the duration can vary by installation. |
Legacy entries: Older visits may have left themeMode, themeLayout, themeStretch, themeContrast, themeDirection or themeColorPresets cookies; i18nextLng language data; iconify-count, iconify-version and numbered iconify cache entries; or legify:privacy-choice:v1. These are no longer used and are cleared on page load; “Clear legacy preferences” below also removes them without clearing your sign-in data.
5. Your choices
Where consent is required, we will provide an appropriate mechanism to accept or reject relevant optional technologies.
Where we rely on an applicable statutory exception that requires an opportunity to object, we will provide a simple, free means of doing so.
You may also be able to control certain technologies through your browser or device settings.
Disabling essential technologies may affect access to particular website or platform functions.
6. Changing your preferences
You can review and update your available choices using:
Cookie Settings / Privacy Preferences
Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing that took place lawfully before consent was withdrawn.
Cookie Settings / Privacy Preferences
No optional technologies are currently enabled. There are no analytics, advertising or optional preference-storage categories to accept or reject.
Necessary sign-in storage remains available. The application does not persist the unused legacy display/language settings or Iconify cache. There is no tracking consent to withdraw.
You can clear legacy display, language and icon-cache entries below without signing out. To end your account session, use Sign out. Browser site-data controls can also remove necessary storage, but doing so can sign you out or prevent the app from working.
7. Third-party technologies
Some website functions may rely on approved third-party services.
Where these technologies store or access information on a user's device, we assess the applicable legal requirements and provide relevant information about their purposes.
Third-party providers may also operate under their own privacy policies.
8. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, service providers or applicable rules change.
The most current version will be published on this website.
